The goldfinches have been hanging out at the feeder filled with black oil sunflower seeds.

What a pleasure to watch these active and lovely guys - - a far cry from having a pack of fighting crows right on your doorstep :-) Happy birdwatching J. GINCO
Goldfinches have always been one of my favorites. They come by the dozens to our wildflowers during the summer and it is a thrill to see them all fly out when you walk up on them.
Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing. Our goldfinch are here and very active. I'm not sure they fly away in the winter from SE Pennsylvania. I'll have to keep an eye out.
When Keewee's Corner was first created, I had a very plain, no nonsense header. Then one day we received the layout you see, from a blogger friend, who knew I was born and raised in New Zealand, loved to grow flowers, and is a competitive pistol shooter. It covered all elements of who I am and what I enjoy doing, so it has graced the top of my blog ever since.
