This weeks theme for the carnival of Recipes is Halloween.
What witch or mortal, could resist this very rich, gooey delight?
1 Pkg. Chocolate Cake Mix.
1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed milk.
1 Jar Caramel Topping
1 Ctn. Cool Whip, or Freshly Whipped Cream
Bake the cake according to the directions; cook in a 13x9-inch pan.
Immediately after baking, make holes in cake, with wooden spoon.
Then while still warm pour over the condensed milk and caramel.
Let cool and spread with cool whip or whipped cream.
I lighten the recipe by using egg whites instead of whole eggs, and 1/2 cup applesauce instead of oil in the cake. And no fat condensed milk for the topping.
