Brain exercise

It is said, as we grow older and want to stay alert , then we need to continue to find new ways of using all the capacity of our brain, and not letting it become sluggish from lack of use.

There are crosswords, chess, card games, and many, many more ways to exercise our brains.
I came across this chart below which is a fun little exercise as it really makes you concentrate.

How did you do? let me know.

you really have to slow down and concentrate to do this one. I found myself saying the color name,
D

1 wrong and 1 almost wrong (I stopped just in the nick of time). Not too bad, I think. That's a hard thing to do.

I have done this before, so I really concentrated on the color, and even then I ALMOST goofed several times, but I made it.

Did the first two and a half lines, then it all went sadly wrong, fun though!

I noted that for the longer words, it's easy to name the colors. Except for the short words - repeatedly blew "RED" as a color.

I thought it was easy the first time I read the words and then I reread the instructions. It is not easy to say the colors and not read the words. Wow!! Ok one more time...I can do this. :)

It went real easy for me, but for some reason, I had to slow way down on the very last line. I usually show strong left-brain tendencies, so I wonder if my left brain was insisting on following instructions more than reading the words.
